Hibbing Design Resources provides extensive project management experience in all aspects of office furniture planning, assessment and procurement as well as corporate moves and relocations. We work with clients both large and small, coaching them through the move process, bringing resources to the team and ensuring a smooth transition.

With over 30 years of experience, our services include assisting small to mid-sized companies with limited internal facility resources; or assisting larger corporations with specific project tasks such as coordinating a full office relocation. Our objective is to manage the multitude of details associated with a facility reconfiguration or office move and make sure it is done successfully on time and on budget.

We inventory and measure all the existing furniture, chairs, files and office equipment into one neat and organized spreadsheet so it can be tracked for reuse.
A test fit plan is created to confirm how your existing office furniture will work in a new space. It can give you the confidence to know there will be enough room for the conference and work spaces you need. Additionally, we can provide recommendations on procuring new office furniture that supports current technology.
It’s a lot of details – happening all at once. We communicate deadlines about when it will be done while tracking the budgets. Managing employee expectations is key; we enjoy coaching everyone through the process including team meetings and pack training.
More details? Furniture installers, movers, electricians, cabling vendors, rigging heavy equipment — the vendor timing will be sequenced and appropriate meetings scheduled to make sure everyone knows their part.
We are on site supervising the office relocation with your department coordinators to ensure that everything is moving successfully.

Fairview Health Services

Provided move coordination for Fairview Health Services Design and Construction projects. Acted as liaison between care teams, IT staff, and movers in determining timing and logistics for office and clinic relocations.
Hartfiel Automation

Managed the relocation of Hartfiel Automation’s headquarters, lab and warehouse facilities to their new 44,000 SF location. Facilitated internal pre-move meetings, vendor coordination and space planning for their warehouse racking and shelving. Coordinated the relocation logistics for the warehouse product and shelving system with their commercial mover.
Blanks/USA

Coordinated the relocation of Blanks/USA warehouse, production and offices spaces with their internal management team to a newly renovated facility. Provided furniture coordination, warehouse rack planning and onsite move supervision to the new 60,000 SF site.
Cardiovascular Systems

Project managed the relocation of 2 facilities into Cardiovascular Systems’ new headquarters, research and development, and manufacturing space totaling 125,000 SF. Managed a pre-move, 4 day main move and a third phase manufacturing relocation after testing processes were completed. Decommissioned former building sites after the final move.
College Possible

Supported the non-profit with planning and design of approximately 80 workstations into their new industrial office space.
RETAIL SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS COMPANY

Assisted the management team in determining if their facility workspace would accommodate increased staff growth through the current lease term. Captured data through surveys to assess workstation needs, department adjacencies, workflow and how their existing furniture and conference spaces could support them in the short term.
Diagnostic Group

Managed the relocation of Diagnostic Group’s office staff and large warehouse to a newly renovated facility. Provided department adjacency and existing furniture planning, warehouse racking plans and move locator maps for their commercial mover.
Be The Match

Move Manager for the relocation of approximately 875 employees to their new 240,000 SF Coordinating Center. Developed and managed an RFP for selecting the mover. Coordinated a 3 phased move with Facilities Management, IT, department coordinators and outside vendors including disconnects and reconnects of technology. Managed the clean out of former suites and decommission of remaining assets.
